Since 1992, Rocks and Ropes has hosted summer climbing camps. Over thousands of children of all ages and climbing abilities have found out that our camp is the most fun, unique and safe way to make your summer exciting and educational.

Lead Climbing Clinic

Learn the basic techniques for safe and competent lead climbing and belaying in a class setting.

climbers should be comfortable climbing at a 5.8 level.

class will be limited.

$45/$35 members

Basic Anchoring Techniques clinic

Date: September 29th

Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm

Join us for a class designed to be a first step in learning more about traditional gear

anchors and how to safely and efficiently clean sport anchor set- ups.

Skills we will cover:

Basic anchor building theory/ techniques

Cleaning sport anchors

Rappel back-ups

Climbers must be competent in basic knot tying and top-rope belay.

Class is limited to 12 participants.

Class is indoors.

Technique101 Clinic

Join us for a more in depth analysis of climbing technique and how to improve your own technique through learning simple climbing positions, movement concepts and technique drills.
