Since we’re reopening into uncharted territory, we’re asking members to prepare as much as possible to make the transition smooth. Below are some of the most important need-to-know pieces of information.
*Members will not be allowed in the facility before their scheduled climbing session begins and must exit the building by the time their climbing session ends.
*Protective masks will be required to enter either facility and must be worn while in the building. They must be properly fitted and worn correctly.
*Social distancing will be required and monitored by staff. We trust that our community will be part of the solution when it comes to being active in a shared space.
*Climbers will be required to practice hand-washing according to CDC-guidelines before climbing and after every bathroom visit.
*We highly recommend that climbers use liquid chalk, and bring belay gloves and hand sanitizer for personal use.
*In addition to checking in to the facility at the desk, members must now check out as they exit the facility.
*Water fountains are for touch-free water bottle refill only.
*We will no longer provide lead ropes; member ropes are subject to staff inspection.
*Shoes and harnesses will be available for rent.
*Members are expected to wipe down any and all exercise equipment with gym-provided sanitizing wipes after use.
With social distancing, we trust that our community will be part of the solution when it comes to being active in a shared space. Keeping six feet of distance between one another will require not only an awareness of where climbs are on the wall, but also kindness, patience, and clear communication. The gym will be cleaned each morning, and high traffic hard surfaces will be disinfected between climbing sessions.
