CDC mask guidance and local mandates

CDC mask guidance and local mandates

This past week the CDC released new guidance regarding the use of masks for vaccinated individuals and indoor spaces. Over the past year, our management team has used a number of resources to help us with operations planning in order to keep our indoor climbing facilities safe for our staff and patrons during the COVID-19 pandemic. Simply put, safety remains our number one priority.

For the time being we are choosing to continue with mask requirements AT ALL TIMES for both of our facilities. We recognize that Pima County and Tucson are moving in the right direction, and we would like to see these trends continue before we do away with mandatory mask wearing.  We also recognize that this has become a polarized issue, and stand firm in our decision at this time. This is what we believe to be the best operating protocol for our businesses and the Tucson climbing community.  Rest assured we are truly looking forward to reducing restrictions and increasing access to our facilities in the near future.

As always we are thankful for the support we have been shown over the past 18 months. Thank you to all of you who have chosen to get vaccinated, to those of you who have volunteered, worked on the front lines, and offered kind words. Let’s keep up the good work.
