Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time. Yin yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality.

Yin is a great warm-up before climbing.

Yoga for Climbers Climbers have specific issues that can be addressed with yoga. Work on your flexibility and fitness with our Yoga for Climbers class.

Renew is a one-hour class that combines gentle yoga, poses, and restorative movements and finishes with a 20-30 minute Yoga Nidra.

Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep as it is commonly known, is an immensely powerful meditation technique, and one of the easiest yoga practices to develop and maintain.

The short-term benefits of attending this class are relaxation and refreshment, while the benefits of longer term attendance are increased emotional and mental well being.
